Dandeniya is a village in "Aparekka". Dandeniya tank, the water reservoir is one of tourist attraction place in Matara District. It's covers the area 42 acres. Despite all this it is very beautiful place to visit and have a weekend with friends together.

The tank is 20km away from Matara town. It is a beautiful place. And it would help if you always were careful enough to have fun while keeping the environment clean. 

Please remember not to throw empty bottles, plastic waste, and trash. Nature is a beautiful place if you know how to treat it well.
